So, I *promised* I would not post publicity stuff on this-here blog, and would use my fancy new author site in which to put "News". That said, I have not watched the video the designer sent me in order to figure out how to update my author site. This will happen, when my current state becomes less jet-lagged and North Carolina again. And I've been thinking and notebooking and maybe out will burst a blog entry too from London, who knows.

But. Two interviews came out on the interwebs today, me in conversation with two women of brilliance and poise.

One, an interview with Jezebel's Jenna Sauers over at Bookforum, where we talk about the Internet/blogs, Green Girl, feminism, Heroines, messy texts of modernism. This is a partial transcript from a long recorded conversation we had over sometime in I think June, or perhaps May, when I was stoned on steroids in NYC, so I am proud of myself that I manage something approaching coherence, and Jenna was really an incredible interviewer. I only feel a bit remiss that the part of the interview wasn't posted where I make myself laugh like a hyena over the fact that no geniuses ever wanted to fuck me in my comely youth, only stupid cruel bass players.

Secondly, the two Kates (myself and the poetess/provocateur Kate Durbin) gabbed and blabbed and really I think came to a beautiful place over at VIDA's Her Kind blog on our given topic of Freedom.
